Flame retardant masterbatch introduces additives designed to reduce flammability or slow flame spread in compatible polymers. The appropriate system depends on the resin, part design, processing conditions and required fire performance.
Electrical and electronic housings; compatible cable components; automotive parts; building profiles, sheets and other specified flame-retardant applications.
The finished product must be tested at its actual thickness and formulation to establish any required fire rating. A masterbatch alone does not guarantee a certification.
